There are crisis pregnancy centers that feed young people misinformation and bully them into a decision. That’s not the way to ever deal with any situation. I think it paints abortion in a weird way if the only thing you see is women crying on the floor for three hours about these decisions and being on the fence and not knowing what they want. ESQ: What do you hope that people take away from this movie? Veronica knew that she did not want to have this baby. And I think that’s what people are. A lot of people don’t have that option, they don’t have enough money to do that, they don’t have enough time, they can’t tell their parents. I didn’t take it for granted, but I really thought that it wasn’t as hard as it was. BF: There's a line in Unpregnant where Veronica says, "I'm not the kind of girl who gets an abortion." I haven’t had the opportunity to do anything with my hair because I started modeling at 16, so I’ve kind of gone all out. I’m unwavering in that decision and that’s my choice. Who knows why, but I think we're in such a culture of we don't talk about anything that makes us uncomfortable and it's doing the opposite of making it better, it's actually creating more tension and it's creating more falsehoods on what it actually is like, what an abortion actually is, and how hard it is to access a safe and legal abortion, which should be a human right.
